The Clouds of the Heart

A story about adoption and foster care, told with great tenderness and a touch of imagination.

This picture book tells the very special reason that led a family to adopt their second daughter. The end of the story is the beginning of a new, beautiful, and real story: a family of three grows... now there are four!

The starting point is the foster care center Las Nubes del Corazón (The Clouds of the Heart), a magical place where it is possible to start anew, in good company, a life in love.

The story takes place in an imaginary center, but in Spain there are 1,219 children's centers where 17,000 boys and girls are waiting for someone to give them a home. May this story help raise awareness of the need for adoption and foster care, and inspire the dream: no child without a family.
